Divorce Records

Contents of the file may include the following:  plaintiff's complaint and defendant's response, certificate of evidence (testimony), and the judge's final decree, with the terms of settlement.  Additionally, they may include the following information:  grounds for divorce, address, occupation, age and name of children of parties, date and description of the marriage, and provision for care of the children.  Presence of the documents, and information, cannot be determined until the requested file arrives from storage.

To request a search please provide the following:  name of wife, name of husband, and date range to be searched.  If you have any additional documentation please provide that.  That could include file number, newspaper clipping, etc.
